Jackson Racing had a serious challenge in their hands when they set out to create a supercharger system for the Acura RSX Type-S. A more stringent emissions package, restrictive intake & exhaust systems, deadhead fuel system and an 11:1 compression ratio presented huge roadblocks to building a powerful yet fully street-able supercharger system. The I-VTEC system and huge intake and exhaust valves found in the K20 engine revealed the potential for incredible power gains, and could not be overlooked.

At the heart of this completely new system is Jackson Racing's Gen IV JR62 Supercharger. Utilizing the latest fourth-generation Eaton Rotor Groups, Jackson Racing designed and developed a proprietary supercharger housing with improved intake and discharge port timing. The result is a highly efficient supercharger that creates boost more quickly while also reducing discharge temperatures.

For fuel management Jackson Racing teamed up with Honda computer specialists Hondata.  Hondata reflashes a factory ECU to change engine parameter such as ignition timing, cam phasing and rev limit, to name a few.  By tailoring the ECU to the supercharger we have realized huge power gains and retained daily reliability and drivability.

All systems are for US spec vehicles. We do have some systems for Non-US spec vehicles. Please call for details.

Our Race Supercharger is currently available in 2 configurations:
Version 1 - Full Supercharger system, Injectors and Hondata ECU Reflash for a stock RSX-S.
Version 2 - Complete Supercharger System, Injectors, and MAP relocation hardware for an   RSX-S owner that already has Hondata's K-Pro ECU.
